The summer transfer window has officially opened in Europe, and the spotlight is now on Manchester United, who are reported to have initiated talks with Fiorentina regarding the potential signing of midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

This news was brought forward by a reliable source, Florian Plettenberg. In recent times, the future of the 26-year-old player has been a hot topic of discussion, particularly because his contract with La Viola is set to expire in the summer of 2024.

Amrabat’s stellar performances in Morocco’s historic World Cup campaign have further strengthened the interest of top clubs in acquiring him.

Manchester United, who recently secured the signing of Mason Mount from Chelsea to bolster their midfield, have now turned their attention to Amrabat, who played a key role in helping Fiorentina reach the final of the Conference League and Coppa Italia this season.

Although negotiations at this stage have not yet reached an advanced point, the news confirms the ongoing interest from Manchester United.

In this transfer window, Manchester United appears to be more focused on the pursuit of a goalkeeper following the departure of David de Gea, as well as searching for a needed striker.

However, Amrabat is also reported to be a target for Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, although there is no clarity on that matter. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich themselves are actively seeking a striker, with Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur being the current main topic of discussion.

Nevertheless, there is also the name of Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt linked to Bayern Munich’s interest. Additionally, other transfer rumors are surfacing in the media.

Borussia Monchengladbach is reportedly considering the recruitment of striker Brandon Vazquez from FC Cincinnati with a deal value of around €8 million to €10 million, while Liverpool and Newcastle United are said to be interested in Federico Chiesa from Juventus, with the Bianconeri demanding at least €50 million for the player.

Napoli is also reportedly interested in bringing Jesper Karlsson from AZ Alkmaar, and Tottenham is still considering Edmond Tapsoba from Bayer Leverkusen as their primary choice for a central defender.

Among other clubs, Fulham and West Ham United appear to be interested in Manchester City’s young defender, Taylor Harwood-Bellis.

Meanwhile, Barcelona is losing Alex Collado, who will join Real Betis on a four-year contract. Those are some of the latest news in this Transfer Talk, marking the excitement and speculation in the summer transfer window of the football world.
